 - Business Support Officer

I have 17 years experience in primary care in several GP practices, I have always enjoyed my work and was always happy to take on any task , I was a practice manager and learned all aspects of GP practices.

I joined Wigan Borough Federation and took on a role of Back office support manager, I lead a team of 6 staff who supports GP practices with Back office service remotely, the staff are very experienced in back office work and our workload and team are growing all the time, I am very proud that this service has really taken off and is very successful, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this fabulous team.

Andrea Fant - Administration Support Officer

Hi I'm Andrea I am currently employed by Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare as an Administration Support Officer.

I have worked for the NHS for roughly four years now working in various general practices gaining knowledge and experience.

I haven't worked for the Federation for long roughly eight months, already I feel part of the team. My role within the Federation is supporting General Practices with back-office support work, such as coding, summarising, tasks etc.

I thoroughly enjoy working for the federation and appreciate all the support from not only the team I work with but my Manger Janet and all the management structure.

SHELBY LLOYD – BACK OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Hi, I’m Shelby and I’m part of the Back Office Team here at the Federation. I have worked here since September 2022 but have worked in other roles in the NHS since 2016.

My main role is supporting GP surgeries in the area with duties such as Coding, Summarising, Referrals, Tasks and much more!

My favourite part of working for the back office team are the girls that I work with. Even though I have only been here a few months, I was made to feel like part of the team instantly. We are all so supported by each other and higher management, it’s a pleasure to work for Team Fed!

LOREN DEMPSEY – BACK OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Hi, I'm Loren.

I am an Administration Support Officer currently employed by Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare. I have worked in NHS General Practice from leaving school and have had a number of various roles within the Wigan/Lancashire area over the years.

Our Back Office Team support practices across the borough with their workload, we undertake a range of duties to ensure a high quality service is delivered. I love being part of such a supportive, diverse team and look forward to the future of our service.

Jodie Whyte - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I’m Jodie

I joined Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare as PCN Admin Support in January 2023.

I previously worked within General Practice for 3 years.

My role is varied in supporting GP Surgeries with their daily tasks such as coding, summarising notes, PCN Support, and assistance with IIF annual targets alongside other day-to-day tasks.

I have so far enjoyed my time working for the Federation, everyone has been very welcoming. We have access to endless support from management and all other teams and support each other in our individual roles.

I am looking forward to the future and seeing how the Federation team grows.

Courtney Wallwork - Back Office Administrator

Hi I'm Courtney

I'm employed by wigan federation and currently work as part of the back office team. I have worked in the NHS for 7 years and have worked within a clinical role on the hospital wards, the hospice and administration.

My main role is supporting GP practices with their Admin work such as coding, summarising, tasks etc.

I really enjoy working for the federation as everyone is so friendly and I have learned so much in the short time I have been here. I feel very supported within my job role by all of the team.

Heather Cooper - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I’m Heather and I’m part of the Back Office PCN Team at the Federation. I have worked here since January 2023 but have worked in other roles within the NHS since 2015, including Community Pharmacy and General Practice.

My role within the Federation is supporting General Practices in their day-to-day activities remotely, such as summarising notes, coding, assistance with IIF targets and PCN support.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my cat and guinea pig and going to car shows (I am quite the petrol head!

Vicky Fleming - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I`m Vicky and I have just stared with Wigan Borough federation I’m part of the back-office team, I have 12 years’ experience in NHS general practice. 

My main roll is supporting GP surgeries in the area with duties such as coding, summarising tasks and much more.

I have only been here at the federation a short time, but everyone is friendly and helpful, and I am looking forward to getting stuck into my new role and being part of the team!
