I have 17 years experience in primary care in several GP practices, I have always enjoyed my work and was always happy to take on any task , I was a practice manager and learned all aspects of GP practices.

I joined Wigan Borough Federation and took on a role of Back office support manager, I lead a team of 6 staff who supports GP practices with Back office service remotely, the staff are very experienced in back office work and our workload and team are growing all the time, I am very proud that this service has really taken off and is very successful, I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this fabulous team.

Andrea Fant - Team Leader

Hi I'm Andrea I am currently employed by Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare as an Administration Support Officer.

I have worked for the NHS for roughly four years now working in various general practices gaining knowledge and experience.

I haven't worked for the Federation for long roughly eight months, already I feel part of the team. My role within the Federation is supporting General Practices with back-office support work, such as coding, summarising, tasks etc.

I thoroughly enjoy working for the federation and appreciate all the support from not only the team I work with but my Manger Janet and all the management structure.

Shelby Lloyd - Back office Administrator

Hi, I’m Shelby and I’m part of the Back Office Team here at the Federation. I have worked here since September 2022 but have worked in other roles in the NHS since 2016.

My main role is supporting GP surgeries in the area with duties such as Coding, Summarising, Referrals, Tasks and much more!

My favourite part of working for the back office team are the girls that I work with. Even though I have only been here a few months, I was made to feel like part of the team instantly. We are all so supported by each other and higher management, it’s a pleasure to work for Team Fed!

Loren Dempsey - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I'm Loren.

I am an Administration Support Officer currently employed by Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare. I have worked in NHS General Practice from leaving school and have had a number of various roles within the Wigan/Lancashire area over the years.

Our Back Office Team support practices across the borough with their workload, we undertake a range of duties to ensure a high quality service is delivered. I love being part of such a supportive, diverse team and look forward to the future of our service.

Jodie Whyte - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I’m Jodie

I joined Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare as PCN Admin Support in January 2023.

I previously worked within General Practice for 3 years.

My role is varied in supporting GP Surgeries with their daily tasks such as coding, summarising notes, PCN Support, and assistance with IIF annual targets alongside other day-to-day tasks.

I have so far enjoyed my time working for the Federation, everyone has been very welcoming. We have access to endless support from management and all other teams and support each other in our individual roles.

I am looking forward to the future and seeing how the Federation team grows.

Courtney Wallwork - Back Office Administrator

Hi I'm Courtney

I'm employed by wigan federation and currently work as part of the back office team. I have worked in the NHS for 7 years and have worked within a clinical role on the hospital wards, the hospice and administration.

My main role is supporting GP practices with their Admin work such as coding, summarising, tasks etc.

I really enjoy working for the federation as everyone is so friendly and I have learned so much in the short time I have been here. I feel very supported within my job role by all of the team.

Vicky Fleming - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I`m Vicky and I have just stared with Wigan Borough federation I’m part of the back-office team, I have 12 years’ experience in NHS general practice. 

My main roll is supporting GP surgeries in the area with duties such as coding, summarising tasks and much more.

I have only been here at the federation a short time, but everyone is friendly and helpful, and I am looking forward to getting stuck into my new role and being part of the team!

Lisa - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I'm Lisa,

I am currently employed as a back-office team member. I have only been here at the federation a short time (NOV 23)

I have worked for the NHS for roughly six years now, working in various practices gaining knowledge and experience in various roles within general practice.

Everyone at the federation is friendly and very helpful it’s a lovely atmosphere to be working in,

They have made me feel very welcome and have supported me within my new job role here.

I am looking forward to getting to know my new team and gaining more knowledge and experience.

Claire - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I'm Claire and I'm part of the Back Office Team here at Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare. I have worked here since October 2023 but have worked in other roles in the NHS since 2017.

My main role is supporting GP practices with their Admin work such as coding, summarising, tasks etc.

Even though I have only been here a short time, everyone has been super friendly and welcoming, and I already feel like part of the family!

Charlotte - Back Office Administrator

Hi, I'm Charlotte, 

I have recently joined Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare as a back-office administrator, I have previously worked in general practice for a short time .

I am looking forward to gaining more experience and knowledge within my role and working within the team to support the gp surgeries with daily tasks. 

I have been welcomed into the team and I am excited to be a part of the team and to see what the future holds!

Sarah - Back Office Administrator

I'm a Back Office Administrator at Wigan Borough Federation and part of a fantastic, friendly, hard working and supportive team! 

I have just over 3 years’ experience in NHS General practice, no two days are the same so I'm always learning.

My main roll is supporting GP surgeries remotely with their day-to-day activities such as tasks, coding and summarising, ensuring we provide excellent, accurate, quality, service. I thoroughly enjoy working for the Federation and look forward to growing with the team and company.

Marian Rigby – Back office Administrator

 I  am currently working as a Back Office Administrator within  Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare. I have worked within the NHS for over 20 years

My current role is to support and aid GP Practices across the borough with their workload including coding and summarising. 

I have only been with  the Back Office  for 6 months and everyone has been so friendly, welcoming ,and supportive.

Its a fantastic team to be part of and look forward to what the future holds.

Kimberly Clements– Office Administrator

Emma Brisco - Office administrator

Hi I'm Emma 

I joined in November 2022 as part of the Back Office Administration Team. I work part time as I also attend University during the week. The support from Management has been incredible during my time here. Before joining, I worked in a GP Practice for two years helping with Admin work . 

I have recently been supporting the PCN Team for admin support and I'm excited to see how it goes. The supportive and collaborative environment make it a great team to work with and I’m excited for the future.

Michelle Greenough – Administrator

I'm Michelle

I joined Wigan Borough Federated Healthcare in January 2024 as part of the back office team, my role at the moment is to support GP Surgery's with their workload.

I had previously worked for the NHS for some years at a GP Practice so my experience lends itself very well to my current role.

Although I have only been here for a relatively short time I already feel like part of the team. When I first came here  I was welcomed by everyone, the team are friendly helpful and supportive with a good work ethic.

I am looking forward to learning more about  the Federation and the services it offers and also learning other systems which will allow me to support my colleagues and widen  my knowledge.
